In the course of owning your home or business, if you have not been making sure to keep up with regular septic cleaning appointments, you may start to notice that your toilets are draining more slowly, or foul smells might be coming up from the pipes. More often than not, this is the result of a septic tank in dire need of cleaning.
During a septic cleaning job, we follow a standard set of steps. Our first job is, of course, finding the septic tank to begin with. This step is easier if you already know where your septic tank is, but in the case of newly bought or inherited properties, this may not always be the case. If you are in a situation where you do not know where to find your septic tank, we will find it for you.
Next, we will have to open up your septic tank. Some tanks are built up onto risers, making them easier to access and open up without having to dig. However, other septic tanks are underground, and so we will need to noninvasively dig down in order to get to them.
After that, we will be able to get to work on the main septic cleaning job. We will give the tank an inspection to make sure there isn’t any unexpected damage that you need to be made aware of, and then we will pump the solid waste out of your septic tank so that it can start working properly again.
